What is Keus.nl?

At Keus.nl we offer a career guidance tool that helps you discover which career suits you. With a free personality test based on the scientific RIASEC model, you map out who you are and which work environments suit you. No assumptions, no AI-generated texts — only real data from reliable sources.

How does it work?

You answer 60 short statements about what gives you energy. For each statement you indicate how well it fits you. Afterwards you receive a personal profile with your Holland code, a description of your strengths and communication style, and an overview of careers that match your type. The test takes about 10 minutes.

The RIASEC model by psychologist John Holland distinguishes six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional. Your combination of these types determines which careers suit you best.

Our data sources

All information on Keus.nl comes from official, publicly accessible sources:

• ESCO — the European classification of Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations
• CBS — salary data from Statistics Netherlands (Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek)
• UWV — labour market outlooks per occupation and region from the Employee Insurance Agency
• DUO — recognised vocational programmes from the Education Executive Agency

With the voting guide, the previous project on this site, we learned that Claude Code is not the best at interpreting Dutch-language data. This site was also built with Claude Code, but without giving Claude the chance to hallucinate. The data comes from official (structured) sources. We cannot guarantee completeness or currency.
