Robin Williams plays dreamer Jack Dundee who wishes he could turn back the clock 13 years to the time his rugby team lost the grand finals in high school because he dropped the touchdown ball. Star player Reno Hightower (Kurt Russell) saw his chance at a successful rugby career disappear like snow in the sun and has never been able to forgive Jack. Now, 13 years later, Jack sees his chance to repay his debt to Reno. The only solution: play Bakersfield again...with the same team.
