A white photographer befriends a black boy and teaches him the trade of photography, much to the dismay of his older brother. The boy is challenged to join his brother and his street gang for a few nights. He manages to gain the gang members' trust and capture their lifestyle on film. When the gang indulges in gross violence and he has the footage to prove it, an explosive atmosphere arises within the group.
