One of the best films Johnny Kraaykamp ever makes. He plays the main character Tim, a traveling salesman and a good family man, married to Jet and father of two children. In Friesland he meets his buddy Bodde (Piet Romer) again, with whom he met ten years ago. made the city unsafe under the motto: 'laugh, laugh, laugh'. Tim gives in to Bodde's proposal to go on a rampage together. Their wandering takes them from the Frisian cattle markets to a Limburg rectory where they buy a batch of holy statues do.
