Dvd A Killing Obsession

John Savage (Deer Hunter and The Godfather) plays the mentally ill Albert. Albert is serving a long sentence in one of the toughest psychiatric clinics, after he murdered Annie's mother in cold blood. Annie remains an obsession and it gets worse and worse. Completely mad, Albert only thinks of one thing: HIS little Annie. The director of the clinic (Dr. Sachs) tries in vain to not release Albert, but the state decides that he has served his sentence and Albert immediately goes looking for his Annie, now 32 years old. Like a madman, he visits all the Annies he can find in the phone book and when it turns out that it is not his Annie, he murders the innocent women. Eventually he finds his little Annie, but Albert is so angry about the fact that his little Annie is now a grown independent woman, that he also murders her and kidnaps her niece. The police are now on his heels and a dangerous and intriguing psychological game begins between Albert on the one hand and the police and Dr. Sachs on the other.
