With a little effort from you, our filter helps reduce the amount of microplastic fibres that end up in the wastewater when washing synthetic clothes.
Washing machines cannot prevent microplastic fibres from being released when you wash synthetic clothes. But our filter helps prevent microplastic fibres released from your synthetic clothes from ending up in the waste water.
Screws to securely mount the filter to the wall next to the washing machine are included. You don't need to plug it in, as it is powered by water pressure.
When the filter needs to be cleaned, the light will come on. If the light comes on during a wash cycle, the cycle can be completed and the microplastic filter can be cleaned for the next wash.
With regular cleaning, the filter will continue to perform optimally until it is time to replace the cartridge. A cleaning brush is included free of charge. Dispose of the collected microplastic fibers in the designated waste bin.
